What is
Anthroengineering?

Anthropology...
...the science and study of human society, culture, language, and biology

+ Engineering...
...the application of science, mathematics, and knowledge to create and implement technologies and tangible solutions to societal problems

= Anthroengineering...
...the synthesis of anthropological and engineering theories and methods to solve problems and build innovative technologies using a human-centric - societal, cultural, linguistic, and biological - engineering approach

Some well-known examples include design and techno-anthropology, human factors, primate and evolutionary biomechanics, power and society, providing technologies to third world countries (engineers without borders), archaeology and civil engineering, and the use of ethnographic research in business (e.g. EPIC) to name a few.
